होली त्यौहार के समय सात दिनों तक कालबेलिया जाति की जवान लड़कियाँ, महिलायें पारम्परिक खुला फागण के हंसी-मजाक वाले गीत गाती नृत्य करती व पुरुष चंग, मजीरा बजाते हुए दुकानों, फैक्ट्रियों व घरों से होली की बक्शीश, चन्दा, रुपये आदि ईनाम के तौर पर प्राप्त करते है साथ ही ईनाम देने वालों को फल-फूलने की दुआए देते है. कहते है कि इन गरीबों की दुआओं से रंक भी राजा बन जाता है और यदि ये बद्दुआ दे तो राजा को रंक बनते देर नहीं लगती.
